ABOUT

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them”

                                      Albert Einstein

This is my own account of my severe “mental” health experience, my added confusion between naivety and scepticism on “psychiatric treatment”, and my unique and successful determination to stand up to “MY MADNESS”.

What is madness? And, how can a mad person stand up to madness?9594905_orig[1]My name is Nelsy, I was born in Colombia and I have lived in England over twenty five years. I became a “mental patient” in England, and in the midst of my madness, I took advantage of my circumstances living among “mad” people, to make sense not only of my “madness” but also of “psychiatric treatment”, “crisis”, “recovery”, “illness”, “well-being” and everything else.

I have explored my madness over fifteen years and it has gradually enabled me to unmask, face, understand and defeat my “illness”. I have proved to myself that madness and many other concepts that we know as negative, have a very different, and above all, a Healthy Meaning.

Welcome to My New and Healthy World, where old psychiatric treatment is unnecessary.

I had always been a very quiet person. One conscious reason for my silence was because I thought, “What is the purpose of keeping repeating what has always been said?” However, I now have something crucially important to tell: My Own Story. I hope that you find something interesting and helpful in my experience.

My website is one more step forward into my Healthy Self-Exploration Process. This is my 2017 revision to my original project published in December 2014. Nothing in depth has changed since then. I am making continuous effort, in consistency with My Research Healthy Findings, to take Direct Responsibility for telling my story. The more I write and share it, the better I feel.

Everything here is of the utmost importance to me, and it is of course, very personal.
